Carter Kicked My Butt

On July 12th 2009, Carter and I participated in the Ann Arbor Gallop Gallup 5k Race. He beat me by an applausable 20 seconds: 17:46 vs my 18:06. The race was held on my home turf in Gallup Park at Huron Parkway and Geddes; NO, I did not jump off the bridge during the race (ask Jack Dean, Brandon Easterday, Kat Hotton, James Erickson, etc.). Carter placed 3rd in his age group and 8th overall. Meanwhile, I was 4th and 11th overall.
